Gday Arthur. Amazing that we have the same boat and paddle, and I'm very jeolous of your Superior carbon 2-piece! On the Nanook, it's a great boat, but I'm now looking to work on skills over the summer including rolling, bracing etc, and the Nanook is too big for me to be able to brace it properly (ie from the inside). Undoubtedly is an awesome boat, so I will be sad to see her go. I do however have my Folbot Cooper as a 2nd boat. :)

Hi Sean,
As a fellow big paddler (I'm 47y/o 6ft 3" & 114KG) who also owns a Boreal Nanook and bought an Elver paddle in July, and a carbon 2 piece Greenland paddle made by Superior http://www.superiorkayaks.com/. This is a sensational paddle. My only comlaint about this boat is that tracking is a bit wierd without the rudder. Thats because its so big and floats so high. This summer I hope to do some long hauls and will bring my camping gear in the boat. It's a great boat that is almost uncapsizabbe. Every Kayaker should however have a second boat. I must also say I was very impressed with your big river trip. Very impressive given my recent reading of " Crossing the Ditch". Take care and happy paddling.
