Be careful National Parks don't start charging you for all the visitors you are taking up Scotts Creek - Remember to leave only paddle strokes........

I am going up to paddle off Magnetic Island (off Townsville) see you in a couple of weeks

ps we are hosting the Balmoral Blast on Nov 21 - come down for the Breakfast BBQ.....

Hey Dave! I have a trophy wife and two beautiful (young) daughters, so I understand time constraints. Which is why I get up at 4.30am and get the paddling done really early so I can be back mid-morning to take the kids swimming and the wife shopping.... ;)

Wow.. I love all these great trips you go on and the descriptive posts, you are a wordsmith with a great photographic eye. Please keep informing your tribe on your trips... as I generally get to paddle the nepean river which is gorgeous but it pales in comparison to the Harbour etc.

Unfortunately (fortunately) I am limited by having young kids & a trophy wife, basically time and geography.... Excuses excuses.

Don't feel bad mate, it was actually the weekend before last. My wife was away this weekend so I was looking after my kids and didn't get on the water at all (for the first time since March!).

The creek is great, but then any water is great - I love it all! :)

Looks fantastic. Very jealous as I've spent all weekend marking coursework - been too long since I've been in my boat - 6 whole days!.

Love the creek - something very different to the open water.
