I'm in your neck of the woods, Loyd! Was at Caltrans when the SR-140 slide happened and it was our District who did the work at the bridges. Always take the shortcut on SR-120 instead of the switchbacks. Sure, its straight uphill but it beats those 10 miles of switchbacks. Stomping grounds, buddy. I stay out of the Valley from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Backcountry only up on Tioga Pass. Sean, you gotta see Yosemite. Go in the Fall or Spring. Yup! I’m in your neck of the woods, Loyd!
