Now that the press has died down somewhat after the catastrophic earthquakes and tsunamis that recently devastated Japan, it is time to think about the hundreds of thousands of victims of that disaster that are still without homes and desperately trying to piece their lives back together. This is a humanitarian distaster of enormous proportions, where the Japanese people of the affected areas not only have to cope with the lose of homes and property, but also the loss of friends, neighbours and family members.
To this end the paddlers from QajaqJPN have been working hard on fundraising campaigns to support these victims. They have now produced and are selling the Samurai sticker, a 10cm by 10cm sticker thanking those who are supporting Japan in this time of need. The stickers are for sale for $9.00 including postage, with all funds going to the Red Cross Tsunami Campaign.
It’s easy to order the stickers – simply go to this website and use the email address listed to organise. You get some cool stickers to add to the collection and get to do some good all at the same time – that’s what I call a Win-Win situation. Cheers – FP
Hi Sean,
Thank you for your kindness.
It is not still enough in various goods though we have received a lot of support all over the world. Victims lost everything what their family, their friends, their houses, their kayak, their paddle, and their SEA.
They might not be able to be solved with money. However, I want to give light to their minds even a little.
We need your help! And please show them the SEA again.
If you want to get stickers, please inform me that your address and sticker’s amount.
