Hey Fat Paddler -
does your friend Ned paddle a Prijon Marlin (as I do)?
Is he happy with his ship? (I am).
Here in cold old Germany, lots of people think this boat is not a real sea kayak as the Valleys are – what do you think about this Down Under? (I love Sydney and all the waters around..NEARLY ALL WATER FROZEN HERE AROUND!)
Paddle on, mates!
Tuluak
Hmm, I’m not sure what Ned’s boat is (definitely a Prijon though). He does like it for its stability and ease to paddle. He complains about the weight a little bit, but he seems to move fast enough in it!
In terms of Prijon (or any ruddered kayak) vs Valley (or any skeg kayak) there are many factions that have a strong opinion. I love my Valley, but only because it works well for me. In the end the boat is a personal choice and the important thing is the paddler! Enjoy your boat and don’t listen to the knockers.
Sydney waters are so good all year round, we’re really very spoilt! I’d love to paddle Germany though!!
