Wild Dolphin Encounter at Shelly Beach, Manly

You never know when the ocean might throw up some magical experiences, and this morning around 6am we got one of the best when a wild little dolphin frolicked with swimmers and paddlers in the shallows of Shelly Beach in Manly. As more swimmers joined they squealed with laughter as the dolphin rubbed up against them, or swam in circles around them … and no-one squealed more than Yours Truly when the little cetacean rubbed up against my surfski, flipping over to rub its belly on my dangling foot! An experience hard to put into words, but a reminder of the amazing wonders of the ocean. Cheers, FP
