I can’t start to tell you how excited I was the first time I ran into the coffee boat up in Bantry Bay. You’ve put 3-4kms paddling behind you and a nice hot strong coffee would be perfect – and look, there’s the coffee boat!
Now other paddlers have told me there’s a fresh fruit juice boat too (are they hinting that I might be, well, fat??), but the real question is…. where’s the Bacon & Eggs boat?!?
Oh my…my other addiction. Coffee.
Coffee + Kayaking = Happiness
I know, it’s a dream come true! I can’t tell you how excited I was when the morning mist burnt off revealing the coffee boat – and I ALWAYS keep a spare $20 in my PFD in the off-chance of something like this happening!!
I wouldn’t be able to paddle fast enough to his little boat. Take a thermos next time to fill up, oh yeah.
Actually we did have to chase him too… everytime we *almost* caught up he’d take off to the next big pleasure cruiser moored on Sydney Harbour. We got him eventually though. 🙂
WOW, there have been days when I would have loved to run into a coffee boat… or even a floating tiki bar! Nice blog, btw.
Thx Pat. A floating TIKI BAR sounds absolutely sensational!! You’re a man after my own heart. 🙂
Like your paddling site too btw – peeps checkout Pirates of the Missouri – http://www.piratesofthemissouri.com/
how do I get in touch with the “Coffee Boat”? or if there are any others on Sydney Harbour…..my google searches are not so succesful. john O4112114OO
Struth, And muffins as well!
I wonder when some entrepernuricalistic marine sales mob will create a coffee boat franchise to promote boat sales with a business.
DOES THE COFFEE BOAT USE EFTPOS ?????
