I’ve been as excited as a fat kid with a cupcake all week with the release of the Beastie Boys long-awaited new album, HOTSAUCECOMMITTEEPARTTWO. I’ve been a fan of the Beasties since I was a skinny teenager, own all of their albums and have not been let down by the brilliance of the latest one. To help promote the album, an awesome new Beastie Boy megamix has been released online for free which got my creative juices flowing and led to the creation of the following mash-up of footage from the Tsunami Rangers Greatest Hits DVD. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed producing it – and make sure you give it the volume it deserves!
If you’re a fan of the Beasties, go and get the full 23 minute version of the Z-Trip Beastie Boys Megamix. And if you haven’t yet heard the new album, you can preview the uncut version in its entirety on the Beastie Boys site.
Special thanks to the Tsunami Rangers for allowing me to use their footage! Cheers – FP
FP, not a fan of the tunes (not my style of music) but nice job on the editing.
Now we need to see some FP action in the rocks 🙂
Yes Gnarly, I know you’re more of an electronica kinda of guy! For me though I wanted to use music that matched the action, in this case an extreme piece of noise for what really is some of the world’s most extreme kayaking footage. I think it was well matched. 🙂
It’s so cool! I like the music as well! 🙂 Good work!
