Oh yeah, my first ever paddling video blog. Join the Fat Paddler on his early morning kayak search for the fabled Coffee Boat on Sydney Harbour. Edited without sound so I have no idea what I’ve said! Enjoy…. FP 🙂

Hey GnarlyD, the RAW footage is amazing. The camera takes HD Video so it is extremely crips – this one video I ran through a file converter, an ordinary editor, and then YouTube, so it is a very poor reflection of the original quality.
Hmmm, since both my Olympus SW1030 are showing signs of premature oxidization and mulfunction (sent in for repair under warranty) it looks like the TS1 is going on the shortlist as my next waterproof camera.
Thank you for letting us know of your experience with Panasonic and for posting the great footage.
That is so cool. A morning paddle in Sydney harbour. What a difference to make the harbour in a kayak compared to the ferrys I used to take to Manly.
Thank you for taking us along, friend. Well done! Now I have vlog envy! Dang.
Awesome video! The water looks so still and calm.
hey Sean.
The Video doesn’t play on the iPhone 🙁 but I get the idea. We once had the coffee man find us at just the right time. He is a legend.
Cheers

Hey Mark,
Via iPhone go to YouTube and search for: Fat Paddler – Kayaking in search of Coffee

I like the video.
Good commentary too Fatpaddler.
What you need is one of these: http://www.austinkayak.com/products/1115/Can-Panion-Cup-Holder.html
I saw you nearly spill that java…
The footage that the TS1 gives seems of better quality than my Olymus SW1030 but it’s only Youtube and hard to compare.
If you get a camera mount for your deck you can film a bit of yourself as well.

Hey Sean, Really cool! We have a hot dog guy who sits in the middle of a small island in one of our rivers.
Haha! The funny thing Joe is I took up paddling to lose weight, and yet it is opening up my world to more culinary delights all over the world! 😉
